Automatic Driving Lessons

Learning to drive in an automatic car versus a manual car is a different experience. Many people prefer learning in an automatic car for a variety of reasons.

Maybe you have had a driving lesson in a manual car before and found it too difficult, or maybe you have a disability that stands in the way of changing gears. Or perhaps you simply prefer automatic transmission driving.

Driving an automatic car removes the clutch, and reduces the workload for anyone having difficulties managing the gears in a manual car. Busy traffic in towns and cities can lead to more frequent gear changes, and many people prefer an automatic transmission for these situations.

Please bear in mind, however, that an automatic license does not permit you to drive a manual car once you have passed your test. That means that going for an automatic now may limit your choice when buying or renting a car or van in the future.

At Chigwell Driving School we can offer automatic car driving lessons in Chigwell and the surrounding areas. Whether you choose automatic or manual driving lessons you can be sure that you will receive the same high standards of tuition from our instructors.
